The Bayamo is a very large CC/BBb Tuba mouthpiece designed for a huge sound output. For Tuba players who are looking for an enormous sound that will support even the largest ensemble. The Bayamo is similar to a PT-88 rim diameter, with a deeper funnel cup and larger throat. A huge mouthpiece that is balanced, and still plays very well in tune with great articulation and a thick rich tone. Ideal for those low excerpts that need a huge amount of volume! However not oversized and impossible to play. Ideal for advanced players looking to add a rich velvet tone to their low playing needs.

Rim 1.32, and the throat is .332 in diameter, very deep funnel shape cup. Bayamo is a violent wind blowing from the land on the south coast of Cuba especially near the Bight of Bayamo.
