Now Available!!! John's F tuba mouthpiece.  This Mouthpieces offers a Medium Shallow cup that delivers clarity and power.  This mouthpiece features the narrower rim width that we use on John's larger Contra Bass tuba mouthpiece for those who prefer a narrow rim.  

 

Contra bass Tuba

This large size contra bass tuba mouthpiece is suited for all orchestral tuba needs. John DiCesare is not only our newest tuba signature artist he also just won the Seattle audition, and is one of our closest artists. John has been able to work closely here in the shop and on stage allowing us to dial in this piece for his specific needs.  The Deep funnel cup, moderate throat combined with a narrow rim width and slightly larger inner rim diameter produce an intense focused sound that is easy to play high to low. This Large sized mouthpiece is the perfect balance of sound, projection, and ease of use. This piece works amazing on large 6/4 Tubas. Rim is 1.31, throat .321, with a  deep funnel shape cup.
